Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Total Knock Out Vox Box! Free From Influenster ! Plus Valentines Nails and french tips!

This Sally Hansen Complete Manicure  Vox Box was sent complimentary of Influenster.
To check out influenster:
http://www.influenster.com

I love this nailpolish. This polish has 7 in 1 benefits!

1- Base Coat
2- Strengthener
3- Growth Treatment
4- Color
5- Top Coat
6- Chip Resistant
7- Gel Shine Finish

Now, i will always give my honest opinion,  even though I got this free.

It dries so quick, Which is love. It doesnt clump up, it goes on very even. The color is very true and rich. This lasts very well on the nails.
I highly recommend it!

The 3 shades I was sent are: Jaded, Pat on the Black and Red my Lips.

I threw in a fun photo of me using the shade Red My Lips for Valentines Nails, using the Sally Hansen Nail art pen!

Also, I used the color Jaded to paint my daughters nails, and do fun French tips.

My favroite nail polish has always been Essie, but after trying this it has become my favorite.

It really is a Complete Manicure in a bottle!

Check out the photos below and If you have any questions about the nailpolish or influenster,  just ask!

Pacifica ALIGHT Multi-Mineral Bb Cream Review!

So I dont like giving bad reviews on products, id rather just show things I like and not talk about what I dont like, but after hearing all kinds of great reviews of this product and buying it and spending $15 on this and the reviews weren't all true, I had to do my own review on it.

So Pacifica BB Cream claims to do 5 things.
First it says its a bare skin tint- They are right about it being bare, it is very sheer and I heard people say that so I knew it was going to be sheer. I didn't realize it was so sheer it was like wearing nothing at all. I know BB Creams were sheer but this is more like a primer to me.
Second its supposed to be an illuminating primer. I do agree with it being illuminating, and if I was going to use this I would only use it as a primer. I don't notice it fill in any pores or lines, but I do feel like it makes my foundation last longer when I wear it over the top. The illuminating effect is good too.
Third it says it has a perfecting finish. The finish isnt bad but when its so sheer you cant even really tell, thats my complaint. It does have a nice finish but the finish doesn't matter if all your pimples are showing through and  illuminated.
Fourth it claims to be age-defying. I cant say if it is or not. It does smell really good. It smells like a face cream. If I use it more and see a difference, I will come back and let you know.
Fifth It is supposed to be shade matching! This is why I did this post in the first place. I heard so many people say it was great at matching skin. From dark skins to very pale. A lot of the good reviews were comming from ipsy bag users that are really popular on YouTube. Maybe for some it did match really well, but for me this didnt match at all and it just seemed like youtubers were saying everything in the bag was good even if it wasn't.

Take a look at my photos and see what you think! Let me know if you have tried this BB cream and if it actually worked for you.

90s Grunge Makeup! Inspired by Courtney Love! ft. Saddle eyeshadow!

Grunge Makeup 90s look inspired by       Courtney Love

This was such a fun look for me. I love everything Grunge. I love grunge music, the style and how it reminds me of the 90s.

《Real Grunge isn't Marc Jacobs $2000 shirts, as a band member of Kurts once said. It was how you could wear a $1 t-shirt and holes in your jeans, either bc  thats all you can afford or you dont care about showing off.
I believe Kurt Contain and Courtney Love was the face of grunge in the 90s and I just love their style and Courtney's wildness and her makeup! 》

So for the eye makeup- I was inspired by this picture below of Courtney. True Grunge makeup is messy its ment to look slept in. I took MAC Saddle and blended it really high and really low under my eyes. I then put black eyeliner on the top and bottom close to the lash line then smudged out messily. I used a pixi mascara first then curled the lashes and piled more mascara on with an old mascara. You want a little bit of spider lashes. Not too mutch but, if you blob your mascara that just adds to the look.

For the lips- I was trying to find a shade close to hers so,  I first stained the lips with just a little bit of Revlon Black Cherry lipstick. Then over top I wore a little MAC Cockney lipstick for that little bit of red.

For skin- I used a Rimmel BB cream that im loving at the moment in the shade light. I did contour my cheekbones to give that sunken in look. I didnt wear any concealor bc I wanted to look like I've been up doing drugs all night. Lol (just kidding) , but I thought it added to this grunge feel. I didnt wear any blush. I did use powder all over for a matte look.

☆I hope you enjoyed this makeup! I love everything about grunge. The shirt im wearing in the photos is a Courtney Love Hole band shirt I found on ebay. My favorite song from the band Hole is Doll Parts.

Thanks for reading! Let me know if you love grunge makeup as much as I do!

How to stretch a leather tablet case to fit your tablet!

This is going to be a quick post because this was pretty easy.

I bought a 7" leather tablet case for my 7" Nextbook from Amazon, so why it didn't fit "at all" I have no idea.

Sorry I didn't get a before picture of just how bad it didn't fit but, as you can see from the after picture, it was way too small.

I read online to use water and then stuff it with tissue or some kind of paper to stretch it out, but then a friend told me to use a hair dryer.
I didn't think a hair dryer would work bc I know a hairdryer can actually shrink shoes, but I gave it a try and the leather started to stretch. So take a look at the picture of the after result and its not perfect but its do-able. I didnt feel like sending the case back and I know how easy it is for tablets to break so this will do for now.

Let me know if this helps!

NARS Haul! NARS Kalahari duo, Carthage matte lipstick, Barrow Street Eyeliner! Review,Photos&Makeup Look!

NARS Haul!

1st -NARS Kalahari Duo is absolutely stunning. You have a lighter side that is a light brown/champagne color that has a beautiful shine. The Darker side has the same shine and  is brown/golden with a hint of purple. They are a lovely silky/smooth texture and they last amazing on the eyes. The NARS duos are $34. Single shadows are $26. You do get a lot of product in them. The duo is 4g.

2nd -NARS Carthage Pure Matte lipstick has become my favorite lipstick I own. MAC girl about town was my other favorite and these two are similar, but Carthage has a more red tint to it. The first time I saw Carthage was in a picture of Emma Stone wearing it and I fell in love. Its a bright pink lipstick and the red tint is undetectable, but it just separates Carthage from being a Fuchsia pink, like Girl About Town is. Even though it is matte, its not drying which I love. You get 2g for $25.

3rd - The last thing I bought is the Larger Than Life Long-Wear eyeliner in the shade Barrow Street. I saw Karlie Kloss wearing this at an MTV awards show and I loved it. It is such an amazing bright color. So fun. I love it! You get 0.58g for $24

You can purchase all NARS products at: http://www.narscosmetics.com

**I have done some makeup looks with me wearing the products, and I have done some swatches of them too!!

If you have any questions about the products, just ask! Let me know what you think!

Sephora Academy Palette! Review, Swatches & makeup looks!

I received this palette for christmas and I was so excited to see how much makeup was inside!

The Sephora Academy Palette is right now $50 and is a $210 value.

They are available at :

http://www.sephora.com

You get tons of eyeshadows. All the shadows are in the middle section. You have, matte, shimmer and satin. You have enough shades to make so many different looks. You get matte white shadows, dark blacks, very colorful shades and champagne shimmers.

The left side is full of cream liners, which you could also use as cream eyeshadows. You get cream and powder blushes. You get an eye primer, and 3 concealors.

The right side has lip glosses, lipsticks, and a  lip primer. They have so many shades of lipsticks. From nudes to brights to dark and vampy.

In the bottom you get 2 eyeshadow brushes,  1 blending/soft brush and a lip brush. I will say make sure you use the lip brush with the lip products so the lipstick doesnt come out all sloppy.

This palette is definitely worth the $50. The products work great. The eyeshadows are pigmented and you get a great choice of colors. I love being able to use the cream liners as cream eyeshadows as well. You can also use them as a base for eyeshadows. This is one of the best all in one Palettes I have seen.

Let me know if you have any questions!

How I got this Christmas Makeup Look!

One the eyes: I used my Sephora Makeup Academy Palette, I I used a champagne color all over the lid, then a shimmery gold/silver shade in the inner corners. I then used a black shade and made a defined V shape in the outer corner and into the crease.

Lashes: I used a Pixie mascara and some Revlon lashes and cut them in half and used them as corner lashes. Corner lashes go really well with this eye look.

Skin: I mixed MAC face and Body with the Rimmel BB cream.

Contour: I used the Benefit hoola Bronzer to contour my cheek bones and forehead.
Highlight: I used the The Balm Mary Louminizer on the tops of my cheek bones and on the Cupid bow.

Cheeks: I used NYC bronzer then a touch of Benefit Bella Bamba

Lips: For lips I went with a classic red, I used MAC Ruby Woo

This is a perfect christmas look. The red lips are always a good way to go, and the glittery eyes and black defined outer corners and the corner lashes gave the eyes a more winged out cat shape.

I hope you like it! Let me know if you try this look out!

How i got these Hipster/goth/hippie Nails of the Day!

How I did these awesome nails!

1. I painted the thumb a pastel purple and drew a cross with a black nail striper.

2. I painted painted my ring finger black, then once dry, I used some tape to make a triangle and filled in with the mixture of pastels that I  did on the rest of my nails.

3. To get the mixture for the rest of the nails, I painted the pastel green on first, then the pastel pink sloppily on next and the pastel purple sloppily on last!

Thats It!

*There is no filter in the photo, just bokeh.

Please let me know if you recreate this look! And if you do hashtag them on instagram with the #erikalovesbeauty!
