bareMinerals Marvelous Moxie Lipstick in Light It Up! Lip swatches, photos & review

💮Hey everyone I have found this amazing lipstick I wanted to share. For anyone who wants to rock Orange Lipstick, this shade is that perfect color. Also, I feel like I always see this similar shade on celebrities.

☆This is the bareMinerals Marvelous Moxie in Light It Up.

¤This is an orange lipstick that is a little more wearable than lets say a shade like MAC Morange.
Its bright but not too in your face. This shade would go with so many skin tones.
I think this would look great on everyone.

¤Orange lipsticks can be hard to wear sometimes because I think they can wash you out a bit, so if you want,  try bronzing up your skin some because this would look great with a nice little tan or just make sure you put color back into your skin with some light peach blush or just a bronzer on the cheeks.
This Lipstick could also look good with keeping the eyes simple with lots of lashes!

¤The texture of this lipstick is so smooth Its moisturizing but at the same time stays on long.

¤The Packaging is so nice. I love the shape of the tube and the metal clamp you push up and it opens the Lipstick.

¤The Price is $18. Which may seem a little high, but I thought it was going to cost way more. I buy MAC lipsticks all the time for $15 a piece and I love them and I love these just as much and they have high end looking packaging. I think they are definitely worth the price. Plus you can try it on before you buy and if you find a shade you love, its worth it in my opinion.

I hope ive covered everything in my review, If you have any questions feel free to ask!

Maybelline 870 Shocking Coral Lipstick | Dupe for MAC Chatterbox

This is Maybelline the Vivids. In the shade Shocking Coral. It looks so much like MAC Chatterbox but its way cheaper. It also looks like MAC Impassioned lipstick. So its a great dupe for both of those MAC lipsticks.  Maybelline lipstick costs around $5 and MAC lipstick costs $15.

You can buy Shocking Coral at Walmart or Target.
http://www.walmart.com
http://www.target.com

This Maybelline lipstick lasts long on the lips. Its creamy but stays put for hours. It is a pink color with a hint of orange.

I took some pictures of the lipstick swatched and lip swatches. In the photo I am wearing Benefit Bella Bamba Blush, these 2 colors go great together. It matches the lipstick really well.

Check out the photos and let me know what you think!
If you have any questions about the lipstick feel free to ask!

Stila Convertible color Lip and Cheek Cream in the shade: Fuchsia | Photos & Lip & Cheek Swatches!!

Stila is one of my favorite brands

This blush/lip cream is amazing. It is like a cream blush but more dewy and it lasts great on the lips and cheeks.

I love this color fuchsia.  It it bright but you can tone it down if you want. It just depends how much you put on.

I like to dap some on my finger and make a couple of circle on my cheek then blend it in in circular motions, then use clean fingers to blend the edges.

You can purchase this on:

Check out my pictures of me wearing this and of the swatches!

MAC Paint Pots in Bare Study & Groundwork | Photos&Review

Paint Pots Can be wore alone or as a primer under your eyeshadow to make it stay all day. They are pretty much a cream eyeshadow but they set really well so thats why they make a good base.

Here im going to show you my 2 favoirte MAC paint pots.
The first paint pot I ever bought was the lightest shade called Bare Study. It is a champagne color that is shimmery but when you wear it alone its not too shimmery. It lets your eye come through so it actually looks kind of sheer wore alone, but it is beautiful. I love wearing this alone when im in a hurry. I like to use it as a primer most of the time, I feel like every eyeshadow I put on top, Bare Study just makes the color pop out more and makes it more pretty.
I bought this paint pot 2 years ago and if you look at the photos below I've only used half the pot, if that, and I use it at least 3 times a week.

They cost $20 but they are well worth the money. You can purchase them here:
http://www.maccosmetics.com

The second paint pot I have is called Groundwork. This is a makeup artist must have because it works on Everyone.  Its a taupe brown shade. Its so easy to apply. You can just apply with fingers then blended the top line out with a clean finger. This is gorgeous by itself. I usually wear this by itself and it gorgeous on any age skin. It just works really well with everyone. You can also use it as a primer which is nice, like all the paint pots.

I hope this was helpful if you are trying to buy one but wanted a review first. I know I always look at reviews be for I purchase something.
Thanks for reading and if you have any questions or need some tips just ask!

《Disclaimer: I bought these myself and im not getting anything from MAC to review them. 》

MAC Cyber Lipstick!

MAC Cyber Lipstick is a deep purple/black shade. It is supposed to be a satin but it feels more like a glaze to me. I find it will just smudge off so easily.
The Color is amazing and the way I wear it is do one layer then blot with a tissue, then do another layer again until I make a stain.
Then it does last amazing.

This lipstick can be very wearable if you keep the rest of the face minimal.
Maybe make it all about the lips and lashes.

You dont have to be gothic to wear a color like this. This can actually be made very chic and modern if you wear it like I said.

I would highly recommend this lipstick even tho I said it smudges, there is just no other shade ive found as gorgeous. So its worth it. Just make sure you wear it like a stain so it will stay put.

This lipstick costs around $15 and
You can find this lipstick at:
http://www.maccosmetics.com

I also did a youtube video showing more pictures of the lipstick again up close with lip swatches:

Thanks for reading and if you have any questions about the lipstick just leave me a comment and I would be happy to answer!

NARS Damage Lipstick | Photos&Lip Swatches

NARS Damage Lipstick is a beautiful Mauve color. It can go on very sheer and be a light color, or you can build it up to be darker, which is what I did in the photos.

It smells like a face cream or something. It feels very moisturizing but still lasts on the lips.

This is very pretty for an everyday lipstick. I would highly recommend it!
The price was around $20 and you can buy it at: http://www.narscosmetics.com

In the photos below I am wearing MAC Trax in the crease just with a white shadow all over the lid. Trax is a purple color with gold running through it so I thought it would look great with this lipstick.

Let me know what you think!

MAC Impassioned Lipstick | Review,Photos&Swatches!!

MAC Impassioned Lipstick is a bright neonish pink. Its not too neon to scare people so dont worry about that. Its a creamy finish and lasts well on the lips. Its $15 and you can buy this at:
http://www.maccosmetics.com

This color looks great on everyone especially warm skin tones and darker skin tones.
If you're wondering what kind of makeup look to do with this lipstick. I find a winged liner looks really good with this.
I just did a little flick and I used MAC Naked Lunch all over the eye, so any light eyeshadow, then MAC Omega in the crease for subtle definition.
A good look to wear with this lipstick since it is so bright is to go easy on the eyes is Nothing too dark or crazy, because you dont want to take away from the lips.

I hope you like the makeup look I did with this lipstick. Check out the swatch as well!
Let me know what you think!!

90s Grunge Makeup! Inspired by Courtney Love! ft. Saddle eyeshadow!

Grunge Makeup 90s look inspired by       Courtney Love

This was such a fun look for me. I love everything Grunge. I love grunge music, the style and how it reminds me of the 90s.

《Real Grunge isn't Marc Jacobs $2000 shirts, as a band member of Kurts once said. It was how you could wear a $1 t-shirt and holes in your jeans, either bc  thats all you can afford or you dont care about showing off.
I believe Kurt Contain and Courtney Love was the face of grunge in the 90s and I just love their style and Courtney's wildness and her makeup! 》

So for the eye makeup- I was inspired by this picture below of Courtney. True Grunge makeup is messy its ment to look slept in. I took MAC Saddle and blended it really high and really low under my eyes. I then put black eyeliner on the top and bottom close to the lash line then smudged out messily. I used a pixi mascara first then curled the lashes and piled more mascara on with an old mascara. You want a little bit of spider lashes. Not too mutch but, if you blob your mascara that just adds to the look.

For the lips- I was trying to find a shade close to hers so,  I first stained the lips with just a little bit of Revlon Black Cherry lipstick. Then over top I wore a little MAC Cockney lipstick for that little bit of red.

For skin- I used a Rimmel BB cream that im loving at the moment in the shade light. I did contour my cheekbones to give that sunken in look. I didnt wear any concealor bc I wanted to look like I've been up doing drugs all night. Lol (just kidding) , but I thought it added to this grunge feel. I didnt wear any blush. I did use powder all over for a matte look.

☆I hope you enjoyed this makeup! I love everything about grunge. The shirt im wearing in the photos is a Courtney Love Hole band shirt I found on ebay. My favorite song from the band Hole is Doll Parts.

Thanks for reading! Let me know if you love grunge makeup as much as I do!

NARS Haul! NARS Kalahari duo, Carthage matte lipstick, Barrow Street Eyeliner! Review,Photos&Makeup Look!

NARS Haul!

1st -NARS Kalahari Duo is absolutely stunning. You have a lighter side that is a light brown/champagne color that has a beautiful shine. The Darker side has the same shine and  is brown/golden with a hint of purple. They are a lovely silky/smooth texture and they last amazing on the eyes. The NARS duos are $34. Single shadows are $26. You do get a lot of product in them. The duo is 4g.

2nd -NARS Carthage Pure Matte lipstick has become my favorite lipstick I own. MAC girl about town was my other favorite and these two are similar, but Carthage has a more red tint to it. The first time I saw Carthage was in a picture of Emma Stone wearing it and I fell in love. Its a bright pink lipstick and the red tint is undetectable, but it just separates Carthage from being a Fuchsia pink, like Girl About Town is. Even though it is matte, its not drying which I love. You get 2g for $25.

3rd - The last thing I bought is the Larger Than Life Long-Wear eyeliner in the shade Barrow Street. I saw Karlie Kloss wearing this at an MTV awards show and I loved it. It is such an amazing bright color. So fun. I love it! You get 0.58g for $24

You can purchase all NARS products at: http://www.narscosmetics.com

**I have done some makeup looks with me wearing the products, and I have done some swatches of them too!!

If you have any questions about the products, just ask! Let me know what you think!

Sephora Academy Palette! Review, Swatches & makeup looks!

I received this palette for christmas and I was so excited to see how much makeup was inside!

The Sephora Academy Palette is right now $50 and is a $210 value.

They are available at :

http://www.sephora.com

You get tons of eyeshadows. All the shadows are in the middle section. You have, matte, shimmer and satin. You have enough shades to make so many different looks. You get matte white shadows, dark blacks, very colorful shades and champagne shimmers.

The left side is full of cream liners, which you could also use as cream eyeshadows. You get cream and powder blushes. You get an eye primer, and 3 concealors.

The right side has lip glosses, lipsticks, and a  lip primer. They have so many shades of lipsticks. From nudes to brights to dark and vampy.

In the bottom you get 2 eyeshadow brushes,  1 blending/soft brush and a lip brush. I will say make sure you use the lip brush with the lip products so the lipstick doesnt come out all sloppy.

This palette is definitely worth the $50. The products work great. The eyeshadows are pigmented and you get a great choice of colors. I love being able to use the cream liners as cream eyeshadows as well. You can also use them as a base for eyeshadows. This is one of the best all in one Palettes I have seen.

Let me know if you have any questions!

How I got this Christmas Makeup Look!

One the eyes: I used my Sephora Makeup Academy Palette, I I used a champagne color all over the lid, then a shimmery gold/silver shade in the inner corners. I then used a black shade and made a defined V shape in the outer corner and into the crease.

Lashes: I used a Pixie mascara and some Revlon lashes and cut them in half and used them as corner lashes. Corner lashes go really well with this eye look.

Skin: I mixed MAC face and Body with the Rimmel BB cream.

Contour: I used the Benefit hoola Bronzer to contour my cheek bones and forehead.
Highlight: I used the The Balm Mary Louminizer on the tops of my cheek bones and on the Cupid bow.

Cheeks: I used NYC bronzer then a touch of Benefit Bella Bamba

Lips: For lips I went with a classic red, I used MAC Ruby Woo

This is a perfect christmas look. The red lips are always a good way to go, and the glittery eyes and black defined outer corners and the corner lashes gave the eyes a more winged out cat shape.

I hope you like it! Let me know if you try this look out!

MAC Chatterbox Lipstick!

MAC Chatterbox is a lovely lipstick. It is an Amplified so its very creamy and opaque.  Amplifieds are one of my favorite finishes, they last great on me.
The shade is a warm pink. Its a very fun pink. I love having a pop of pink on my lips that's not a fuchsia. I like fuchsia too but this is just something different. Its a great summer color, but I've been wearing it in the fall too.
This would look good on all skin tones.
The price is $15 and you can buy it at: http://www.maccosmetics.com

Let me know what you think of the lip swatches!

Thanks! xxErika
