NARS Haul! NARS Kalahari duo, Carthage matte lipstick, Barrow Street Eyeliner! Review,Photos&Makeup Look!

NARS Haul!

1st -NARS Kalahari Duo is absolutely stunning. You have a lighter side that is a light brown/champagne color that has a beautiful shine. The Darker side has the same shine and  is brown/golden with a hint of purple. They are a lovely silky/smooth texture and they last amazing on the eyes. The NARS duos are $34. Single shadows are $26. You do get a lot of product in them. The duo is 4g.

2nd -NARS Carthage Pure Matte lipstick has become my favorite lipstick I own. MAC girl about town was my other favorite and these two are similar, but Carthage has a more red tint to it. The first time I saw Carthage was in a picture of Emma Stone wearing it and I fell in love. Its a bright pink lipstick and the red tint is undetectable, but it just separates Carthage from being a Fuchsia pink, like Girl About Town is. Even though it is matte, its not drying which I love. You get 2g for $25.

3rd - The last thing I bought is the Larger Than Life Long-Wear eyeliner in the shade Barrow Street. I saw Karlie Kloss wearing this at an MTV awards show and I loved it. It is such an amazing bright color. So fun. I love it! You get 0.58g for $24

You can purchase all NARS products at: http://www.narscosmetics.com

**I have done some makeup looks with me wearing the products, and I have done some swatches of them too!!

If you have any questions about the products, just ask! Let me know what you think!

Sephora Academy Palette! Review, Swatches & makeup looks!

I received this palette for christmas and I was so excited to see how much makeup was inside!

The Sephora Academy Palette is right now $50 and is a $210 value.

They are available at :

http://www.sephora.com

You get tons of eyeshadows. All the shadows are in the middle section. You have, matte, shimmer and satin. You have enough shades to make so many different looks. You get matte white shadows, dark blacks, very colorful shades and champagne shimmers.

The left side is full of cream liners, which you could also use as cream eyeshadows. You get cream and powder blushes. You get an eye primer, and 3 concealors.

The right side has lip glosses, lipsticks, and a  lip primer. They have so many shades of lipsticks. From nudes to brights to dark and vampy.

In the bottom you get 2 eyeshadow brushes,  1 blending/soft brush and a lip brush. I will say make sure you use the lip brush with the lip products so the lipstick doesnt come out all sloppy.

This palette is definitely worth the $50. The products work great. The eyeshadows are pigmented and you get a great choice of colors. I love being able to use the cream liners as cream eyeshadows as well. You can also use them as a base for eyeshadows. This is one of the best all in one Palettes I have seen.

Let me know if you have any questions!

How I got this Christmas Makeup Look!

One the eyes: I used my Sephora Makeup Academy Palette, I I used a champagne color all over the lid, then a shimmery gold/silver shade in the inner corners. I then used a black shade and made a defined V shape in the outer corner and into the crease.

Lashes: I used a Pixie mascara and some Revlon lashes and cut them in half and used them as corner lashes. Corner lashes go really well with this eye look.

Skin: I mixed MAC face and Body with the Rimmel BB cream.

Contour: I used the Benefit hoola Bronzer to contour my cheek bones and forehead.
Highlight: I used the The Balm Mary Louminizer on the tops of my cheek bones and on the Cupid bow.

Cheeks: I used NYC bronzer then a touch of Benefit Bella Bamba

Lips: For lips I went with a classic red, I used MAC Ruby Woo

This is a perfect christmas look. The red lips are always a good way to go, and the glittery eyes and black defined outer corners and the corner lashes gave the eyes a more winged out cat shape.

I hope you like it! Let me know if you try this look out!

How i got these Hipster/goth/hippie Nails of the Day!

How I did these awesome nails!

1. I painted the thumb a pastel purple and drew a cross with a black nail striper.

2. I painted painted my ring finger black, then once dry, I used some tape to make a triangle and filled in with the mixture of pastels that I  did on the rest of my nails.

3. To get the mixture for the rest of the nails, I painted the pastel green on first, then the pastel pink sloppily on next and the pastel purple sloppily on last!

Thats It!

*There is no filter in the photo, just bokeh.

The Best candles! My Favorites!

I absolutely love candles, but I have tried some that are expensive and weak in smell. There is nothing more annoying than buying a candle and it barely give off any scent.

So here are some of my all time favorites,  and the ones that I find are the strongest in smell.

My #1 candles are the Dilly Dilly Candles. I Love them! The smell is so strong, i have a pumpkin Dilly Dally in my room and within 5 minutes of  lighting it, the entire upstairs smells like pumpkin.
I bought mine when they were exclusively at Cracker Barrel, but I'm not sure where else you can buy them because they dont have their own store. You can always check eBay and online.

My 2nd favorite candles are the Yankee Candles. My favroite candle by them is 'Cherries in the Snow' it is amazing. They are also strong in scent and well worth the money. Plus Yankee Candle always have great coupon deals!

My 3rd favorite candles are the WoodWick candles. They are not as strong as Yankee and Dilly Dally, but they are pretty close. What I love about WoodWick candles, the wic make a fire crackling sound when you burn them so its very relaxing. I bought these at cracker barrel too. They always have them there.

Now for some of the candles I didn't like as much-
I love the smell of the bath and body works candles, but when you burn them they are very weak in smell. They dont fill up my rooms with much fragrance and for the price point, to me they are just not worth it.
Glade candles smell good but i feel like they burn up very fast and dont give much fragrance to my home. The glade is way cheaper than the Bath and Body work candles so I do think they would be more worth it for the value.

Candles for me are more than just the smell, I like to use them as decor for my home too. They are very pretty and set a nice mood for a home.

Check out my favorite Candle Photos, and let me know which ones you like the best and some of your favorites!

Thanks!

DIY Candy Jar Centerpiece using an old Candle!

Hi guys! So, I was looking around for a dish to put my Christmas Candy in, and I couldn't find anything that I liked for a Centerpeice. I had some empty candles and I thought, that would be perfect!
So here's an easy way to re-use your candle jars and make a beautiful dish thats great for a centerpeice.

All you do is run the Candle Jar under some hot water for a minute. It doesn't have to be too hot. Then take a knife and run all around the edges of the wax. It should loosen up and come right out with some wiggling.

Then wash your jar, I used dawn dish soap, then dry it off.

If you want to spray paint the jar you can. Just scrape the jar with some sand paper so the paint will have something to cling to. Then do a coat or two. Let that dry and your all done.
My jar was already painted white on the outside so I didn't have to, or you can just leave it clear.

I know this is very easy, but i just wanted to give an idea for you to use your old candles!

Thanks for Reading!
