MAC Media Lipstick! Photos,Lip Swatch&Dupe!!

MAC Media is my favorite dark vampy lipstick by MAC. They make a few different ones. Media has more of a purple tone to it, if you're looking for something with more red in it, I would go for something like Dark Side.
This shade is beautiful. I love the Satin finish of it. It smells amazing,  like vanilla.
It lasts. I like to first make a stain on my lips with it by pushing a thin layer on the lips, then blot and put a thick layer on top. It should last for hours like that.
You can wear it like a stain for less color or full on vamp. I also like to take a little on my finger and pat it on my cheeks as a cream blush. I think the matching of the same color on the lips and cheeks is gorgeous.
This is a great fall lipstick. If you do wear this dark lip, be sure to keep either the eyes or lips simple, so they don't compete with the lip.

The price is around $15. You can purchase this at:  http://www.maccosmetics.com

A great dupe for MAC Media is Revlon Black Cherry! They have different finishes, but the color is so similar. The Revlon one is more moisturizing, which also means it may not last as long as the MAC one, but the Revlon is half the price.

Check out the photos and swatches below! **Also, in the lip swatch photo, I'm only wearing Media as a stain, so the color can actually go darker than this. The swatch on my hand is the full effect. I'm wearing Media on my cheeks and lips in the photo.

Let me know what you think!

Dr. Scholls Active Series review and how I got them free!

I received these Dr. Scholls free from http://www.Influenster.com
I recieved these free to review! So go check out Influenster if you're interested in getting products to review! These are from the Active Series Voxbox!

Ok so the Dr. Scholls are amazing! They help my feet feel better when I'm standing all day. My feet always hurt if I'm standing for too long and these minimize that so much!
These are great to run in too! I feel like they help me run faster and longer. My feet cramp a little bit when I run a long distance, but with these, they haven't!
The Dr. Scholls I recived were a size 7-10 in women. They have more size ranges and All you have to do is cut them to fit your size. I was suprised at how easy it was to cut them and they fit great!
I would highly recommend them!

If you have any questions about the Dr. Scholls or Influenster, just ask!

Baby Lips by Maybelline! Review&Swatches!

Maybelline Baby Lips are one of the most popular lip products at the drugstore, and I can see why!
They have an amazing variety of shades. Some are more pigmented than others. The color does last a good while on the lips. They leave my lips feeling soft and moisturized. They don't wear off patchy, which I've found a lot of lip balms to do on me. They are definitely my favorite lip balm. I find myslef reaching for these when I don't know what I want to wear. They are so easy to wear, and heal your lips at the same time!
I think the best thing about them is their price, for only $2.97, for me, they are worth every penny. They do sell them in a 2 pack also, 2 for $5. (At Walmart and Target) That's how I bought two of mine.
If you do plan to pick one up, I want to say they can melt really easily, so make sure you keep them at room temperature.

If you have any questions about them, feel free to ask me!

How to make a Latte at Home without a Froth Maker! + DIY Vanilla Syrup!

Hi guys! Today I'm going to show you how I make my Lattes at Home! I didn't have a froth maker of any kind so I decided to try a technique I heard from a friend. If you're looking for a simple way to make a latte, using what you probably already have in your kitchen, then here you go!

-If you want a plain latte then you can skip this step, but if you like Vanilla Flavoring like I do, than start this first because it takes the longest.
DIY Vanilla Syrup:
Mix 2 Cups of Water and 2 Cups Sugar in a pan on Medium heat. Stir occasionally. When all the sugar dissolves, add in 1tsp Vanilla flavoring/extract then Store in a container. This makes about 30 oz so this will last you.

-Get your Coffee ready in your mug. Leave about 1/3 room in the cup for your Froth.

-Add in your Vanilla Syrup. I use a few spoonfuls.

-To Make Froth: Put about 4 oz of Milk in either a jar with a lid or a jug or bottle with a lid. Shake it for about 35 seconds. The froth will begin to rise while your shaking it. After that, heat in microwave for about 35 seconds.
Pour the Milk into your coffee and use a spoon to keep the foam in the cup. Scoop your frothy foam out and place it on top of your coffee.

THAT'S IT! ENJOY!
